Who Organized the show?
Muskegon Boat Life, the organization behind the Muskegon Boat Show, aims to celebrate and enhance the local boating community. The show will be held at Adelaide Pointe Marina from May 15-17, 2026. The show is the vision of lifelong Muskegon boater Roger Zuidema. Through Muskegon Boat Life, Zuidema's mission is to be a catalyst for maritime fun, education, preservation, and growth in the region. His efforts to promote the area's maritime culture include events like the Blessing of the Boats, Muskegon Powerboat Weekend, sailing regattas, and fishing tournaments. Zuidema explains, “The goal of Muskegon Boat Life is to be a catalyst for maritime fun, education, preservation, and growth.” He adds, “By organizing the boat show, we wanted to create a fun, on-the-water event for boating enthusiasts in Muskegon and West Michigan, supporting maritime businesses and fostering community.” The "Summer Kickoff Boat Show and Party" will feature displays from 18 dealers representing 150 boat brands, live music, food, and the unique opportunity to view boats in the water.
